Terms of Use
1. Acceptance, scope, and operator identity
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the ASO Copilot platform, provided as a SaaS (Software as a Service) product for ASO (App Store Optimization) of iOS applications.
ASO Copilot is currently operated by an individual based in Brazil. Legal communications, privacy-related requests, billing notices, and formal notifications may be sent to: support@asocopilot.app.
By accessing or using the platform, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
2. Description of services
ASO Copilot provides tools intended, among other purposes, to:
- generate titles, subtitles, keywords, and other metadata with artificial intelligence support;
- analyze existing metadata based on Apple best practices; and
- provide a dataset with signals, patterns, and relationships between keywords, categories, and competition.
The platform may also collect and process data from connected applications through the App Store Connect API, within the technical and functional limits described in these Terms.
3. Account, authentication, and organizations
To use certain features, the User must create an account using email and password or third-party providers, including Google, GitHub, and Apple.
Authentication is managed through Clerk infrastructure.
The User acknowledges and agrees that:
- email verification is mandatory;
- multiple accounts may exist, subject to the platform's operational rules; and
- the platform uses an organization-based (multi-tenant) structure, so each organization is a segregated data environment.
Within the organizational model:
- each organization represents an isolated data space;
- an organization may contain one or more users;
- different permission levels may exist, including owner and member; and
- data, applications, and integrations are linked to the organization rather than exclusively to an individual user.
4. Apple Developer and App Store Connect integration
The platform may allow integration with Apple Developer accounts through the App Store Connect API.
For this purpose, the User may provide credentials such as Issuer ID, Key ID, and a private key in .p8 format. These credentials are stored in encrypted form and used exclusively for reading, importing, and processing authorized data.
In this integration context, the platform may collect, among others, the following data:
- application names; and
- metadata related to connected applications, including title, subtitle, keywords, promotional text, and related information.
The User acknowledges that the platform does not publish applications, does not upload builds, does not automatically modify App Store data, and does not perform operational actions inside the User's Apple account.
5. Use of artificial intelligence
The platform uses third-party services, including OpenAI, for content generation and analysis.
The User acknowledges that:
- certain data may be sent for processing as required to operate the service;
- generated content may be stored and reused for system improvement, statistics, and dataset enhancement; and
- artificial intelligence outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, bias, or incomplete content.
All outputs generated by the platform must be independently reviewed and validated by the User before publication, submission to Apple, commercial use, or reliance in any material decision. ASO Copilot does not guarantee accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, regulatory compliance, or any specific commercial result from AI-generated outputs.
6. Plans, billing, and usage limits
ASO Copilot operates through subscriptions, including a free plan with usage limitations and paid plans, currently named Pro and Team, billed monthly or annually.
Checkout, recurring billing, subscriber portal access, invoicing, and payment processing may be provided by Stripe or equivalent payment partners identified on the platform.
Plans may be subject to limits related, among other criteria, to number of applications, number of users per organization, AI generations per month, and analyses per month.
Once plan limits are reached, certain features may remain unavailable until the next billing cycle.
Prices and commercial conditions may change at any time, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Except where required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable. Cancellation stops future renewals only and does not create a right to a full or partial refund for the current billing period. Duplicate charges may be reviewed under the Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the platform, its structure, interface, databases, features, trademarks, distinctive signs, software, and all other elements related to ASO Copilot remain the exclusive property of their respective owners.
Content generated through the platform may be stored, reused, analyzed, and used to improve the service and dataset.
The User may commercially use generated content only in their own connected applications. Resale, sublicensing, redistribution, or independent exploitation of such content as a standalone product or service is prohibited.
8. Permitted and prohibited use
The User agrees to use the platform lawfully, ethically, and in accordance with its intended purpose.
It is expressly prohibited to:
- use the platform for spam, deceptive ASO manipulation, or similar practices;
- reverse engineer, attempt to copy, or otherwise improperly reproduce the product;
- engage in scraping, abusive automation, bulk extraction, unauthorized benchmarking, or intentional infrastructure overload;
- circumvent technical limits, access controls, rate limits, or plan restrictions;
- violate Apple rules, policies, or requirements; and
- generate or attempt to generate abusive, prohibited, or unlawful content.
9. Cancellation and account deletion
The User may cancel their subscription at any time. In the event of cancellation, the plan remains active until the end of the subscribed cycle, without prejudice to the specific rules described in the Refund Policy.
Account deletion may occur immediately through the feature available on the platform, under a soft-delete model. In this case, data may be marked as deleted without immediate permanent removal.
10. Suspension and termination
ASO Copilot may, at its sole discretion, suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time, including without prior notice, whenever necessary to protect the platform, its infrastructure, third parties, investigate violations, or comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Scraping, abuse, fraud, improper chargebacks, attempts at unauthorized access, automation incompatible with the service purpose, or material violations of these Terms may result in immediate suspension.
In such cases, certain data may be retained for investigation, audit, security, regulatory compliance, or rights protection purposes.
11. Refunds
Specific rules regarding cancellation, refunds, disputes, and duplicate charges are described in the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASO Copilot's total liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the contracted services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, subject to any mandatory legal limitations.
ASO Copilot will not be liable for:
- indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or business interruption;
- decisions made by the User based on information, analyses, or content generated by the platform;
- ASO results, commercial performance, ranking, Apple approval, or conversion outcomes; and
- temporary unavailability, interruptions, failures, delays, service instability, or third-party acts.
The services are provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of continuous availability, fitness for a specific purpose, or achievement of specific results.
13. Eligibility
Use of the platform is permitted only for individuals over 18 years of age or minors duly authorized by their legal guardians.
By using the platform, the User represents that they have the legal capacity to contract and use the services, or that they are duly authorized to act on behalf of the legal entity or organization they represent.
14. Information security
The platform adopts security measures compatible with the nature of the service and the processed data, including, among others:
- AES/GCM encryption for sensitive data, including Apple keys;
- HTTPS/TLS for communications;
- webhook verification, including Stripe and Clerk integrations;
- authentication and JWT issuance through Clerk;
- organization-based data isolation;
- role-based access control;
- IP-based rate limiting;
- operational limits by plan; and
- logging of billing, webhook, and security events.
15. International data transfers
The User acknowledges that certain data may be processed outside Brazil by the platform's providers and technology partners, including Clerk, Stripe, and OpenAI.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
In the absence of an express forum selection clause, jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
17. Contact
Questions, requests, notices related to these Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, or legal communications may be sent to: support@asocopilot.app.
